ever wonder why it cost more to eat healthy than to eat unhealthy? i do all the time. a few thought I tend to have:
it benefits certain industries to have unhealthy people.
when you don't have unhealthy people, healthy people now have money back in their pockets. certain forces want that money to be reallocated somewhere rather than saved and invested.
mass healthiness can literally dismantle certain industries. think about how scary that is for them.
to prevent this, farmer to consumer pipelines are controlled so that consumers are forced to go to local farmers markets and grocery stores.
will this always be the case or will something change?
